One-to-one deep dive into your portfolio

A focused 40-minute one-to-one online session with a consultant reviewer. You must upload or provide access to your portfolio at least 3 weeks before the session so your reviewer can assess it in depth and give you targeted, actionable feedback.
Portfolio Clinic Follow-up
Check back in after your main clinic
£180per person
A 15-minute one-to-one online follow-up to your Portfolio Clinic. Your reviewer already knows your portfolio, so this session is for reviewing the changes you have made, working through anything still unresolved, and confirming you are ready to submit. A link to your updated portfolio is required when you book, so your reviewer can look over your changes beforehand.
Portfolio Preparation Session
Build your evidence, on your own or with a group

A 30-minute online session covering how to structure your portfolio, map evidence to the curriculum, and avoid the most common pitfalls that lead to unsuccessful applications. Book it for yourself alone or bring a group of any size.

A 40-minute online group event for doctors who want to start the Portfolio Pathway (CESR) route, running with a minimum of 4 attendees. We walk you through eligibility, GMC requirements, timelines, evidence domains and how to build your personal roadmap to the Specialist Register.

What is the CESR / Portfolio Pathway route?＋
It's the GMC route to the Specialist Register for doctors who haven't completed a UK-approved training programme. You demonstrate that your skills, knowledge and experience are equivalent to CCT-level training by submitting a structured portfolio of evidence.

We are a group of practising NHS consultants across multiple specialties, many of whom obtained specialist registration through this very route and have reviewed dozens of successful portfolios.
Why must I share my portfolio 3 weeks before a Portfolio Clinic?＋
Your session goes fast. Your reviewer studies your portfolio in depth beforehand so the time is spent on targeted feedback and an action plan — not on reading your documents.
How do I book a session?＋
Create a free account, head to the member area and pick a date for the session type you need, then pay securely by card. Portfolio Clinics and their follow-ups are one-to-one, preparation sessions suit an individual or a group, and pathway events run as a group.
Where do the sessions take place?＋
Everything we run is fully online, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Once your booking is confirmed, the joining link appears against that session in your member area.
What is the Portfolio Clinic Follow-up for?＋
It's a shorter, lower-cost session for after your main Portfolio Clinic. Your reviewer already knows your portfolio, so you can spend the time reviewing the changes you've made, resolving anything still outstanding and confirming you're ready to submit.
Can I access resources between sessions?＋
Yes — members get access to our library of pre-recorded video presentations and downloadable templates, checklists and guides, available any time.
How much do sessions cost?＋
Prices are per person in GBP: Portfolio Clinic £599, Portfolio Clinic Follow-up £180, Portfolio Preparation Session £300, Guidance to the Portfolio Pathway £250. All prices include VAT at 20%.
